It might still feel like fall (even summer), but at Northern Power Race Park we're already looking ahead to snow, speed, and another unforgettable winter at the park. Our 2025/26 winter schedule is officially locked in, and it's shaping up to be our biggest season yet. With six rounds of NPRP Ditchbangers, 11 rounds of Michigan Snocross, the second-annual Snowcross Border Cup, and a few other events - there's something for every racer and every fan. Consider this your first look at the action to come, and get ready to circle some dates on your calendar.

2025/26 Calendar Overview

Michigan Snocross (Regional Series - 11 Rounds) - Snocross action that combines the top-level riders from Michigan with the next generation of snocross riders chasing big dreams.

NPRP Ditchangers (6 Rounds) - A snowmobile race for everyone! From the top snocross pros to the beginner trail rider. We have a class for everyone and every sled!

USA vs CANADA - Snowcross Border Cup (January 3 - 4, 2026) - The wait is over – the Second Annual Snowcross Border Cup is back and bigger than ever! After a thrilling debut, we’re excited to bring together the best snocross racers from both sides of the border for an unforgettable weekend of high-speed action at Northern Power Race Park. This two-day race will feature the fiercest competitors from the Michigan Snocross and CSRA (Canadian Snowcross Racing Association) series, all vying for the prestigious Border Cup trophy!

Arctic BLAST Winterfest (January 10, 2026) - A one-day winter celebration featuring open riding, swap meet, vendors, and plenty of family fun.

Free Youth Ride (February 7, 2026) - Bring the kids and let them experience the thrill of snocross in a fun, safe, and welcoming environment! We’re opening up the Michigan Snocross track for a free youth ride open to all kids with a Kitty Kat, 120 or 200 sled. This event is designed to give young riders the chance to try snocross, build confidence, and see what the sport is all about—without the pressure of racing.

Open Snocross & Ditchbanger Practice - We offer numerous open snocross practices throughout the season, which are open to riders of all skill levels. New this year - We are hosting dedicated NPRP Ditchbanger practice sessions. Whether you’re a current Ditchbanger racer, brand new to the series, or just thinking about getting started, this is your chance to hit the track, get comfortable, and sharpen your skills in a fun, low-pressure environment. MICHIGAN SNOCROSS

Diving into our third season of Michigan Snocross, we are excited to host 11 rounds of the series this season. Michigan Snocros is a proving ground for the next generation of riders chasing their dreams. As a regional affiliate of Amsoil Championship Snocross, these races bring high-intensity action, stacked lineups, and a chance to watch rising talent battle it out right here in Northern Michigan.

Our mission is not only to help bring up the next generation of pros, but also to grow the sport by creating a welcoming environment for newcomers. Whether you're a racer just getting into the sport or a seasoned rider chasing the championship, there's a place for you at Michigan Snocross.

This winter, our track will come alive with bar-to-bar racing, big air, and the kind of snow-slinging excitement that only snocross delivers. NPRP DITCHBANGERS

They’re loud, they’re wild, and they’re coming back for another season - the NPRP Ditchbangers Series is set for six rounds of snowmobile racing you won’t want to miss. Known for its throwback style and anything-can-happen action, ditchbanger racing is a fan favorite that packs the pits and fills the stands with energy.

Our mission with Ditchbangers is the same as with all of our programs: to grow the sport by creating a welcoming environment for first-timers while still fueling the competitive fire for seasoned racers. Whether you’re looking to try racing for the first time, chase bragging rights, or just enjoy the chaos from the sidelines, Ditchbangers delivers the perfect mix of fun and intensity.

Each round will bring bar-to-bar battles, hometown rivalries, and plenty of sled-slinging drama, leading up to an unforgettable series finale. Six chances to line up. Six chances to leave your mark.
