MORE THAN JUST RACING

NPRP is more than a place to race.
Throughout the year, we host a variety of special events designed to bring our community together, introduce new riders to the sport, and create memorable experiences for all ages. From youth riding opportunities and training clinics to family-friendly winter festivities, there's something for everyone at Northern Power Race Park.

TYLER ARCHAMBAULT RIDING CLINICS

Join Tyler Archambault, Amsoil Championship Snocross Pro-Lite rider and Mancelona native, for a hands-on riding clinic at Northern Power Race Park!

These clinics offer riders focused, on-track coaching in jumping, cornering, rhythm sections, race technique, and overall sled control. With only 6–8 riders per session, each rider gets plenty of individual attention and exclusive use of the track throughout the clinic.

FOUR DATES AVAILABLE!

ARCTIC BLAST WINTERFEST | JAN 9, 2027

THE CAT IS BACK! THIRD-ANNUAL ARCTIC BLAST WINTERFEST.

Open Track | Vendors | Good Times

Dust off the vintage sled, bring out your everyday rider, or load up something you just want to show off and join us for a full day dedicated to all things snowmobiles. Whether you want to hit the track or simply hang out with fellow sled enthusiasts, Arctic Blast Winterfest is all about getting together and enjoying the sport we love. All makes, models, years, and riding abilities are welcome!

The track will be open from 11 AM–5 PM with a fun layout combining elements of snocross and ditchbanger riding. This is not a race—just an opportunity to get on the snow, make some laps, and have a great time. We'll also have food vendors, retail displays, and more throughout the day, so there's plenty to enjoy even if you're not riding.

Cost: $100 per rider!

FREE YOUTH RIDE | JAN 30, 2027

Bring the kids and let them experience a racing environment in a fun, safe and welcoming way -  open to all kids with a Kitty Kat, 120, or 200 sled.

This event helps young riders get comfortable on a race track and learn the basics of a race environment - including how to safely enter and exit the track, what the different race flags mean, and what to expect on race day - all without the pressure of actually racing.

Whether your child has dreams of actually competing or just wants to give it a try, this is the perfect opportunity to get them on the track and have fun!
