CLASSES
If you're interested in racing at Michigan Snocross, we provide a diverse range of classes that cater to racers of varying skill levels. If you're unsure about which class is suitable for you or your rider, don't hesitate to contact us for more information. We'll be happy to assist you!
Please remember that rider protective equipment including helmets, eye protection, above-ankle boots, shin and knee guards, chest protection, and mouth guards are required for all racers.

KITTY CAT
Non-points class for children 4-7 years old or their first year racing (rookie year, minimum age 4 years old). This class is designed for racers with little to no experience. The purpose of this class is to sharpen a racer’s skills and boost his/hers confidence! Rear suspension wheels may be replaced with OEM bearing-type replacement wheels. Wheels must be the same diameter as stock wheels.
Kitty Cat races will be held on a small, flat track and not on the main snocross track.
STOCK 120 (4-7 years)
Stock 120cc sled. 4 - 7 year old drivers. If you turn 8 during the season, you may complete the season.
120 IMPROVED (6-12 years)
Improved stock, sleds must stay at 120cc. See ISR Rulebook for specifications on sleds.
120 CHAMP (6-12 years)
206 Briggs allowed. See ISR Rulebook for specifications on sleds.
STOCK 200 GIRLS (6-12 years)
Stock 200 rules, factory 6000 RPM rev limiter must be intact and functional.

STOCK 200 BOYS (6-8 YEARS) | STOCK 200 BOYS (9-12 YEARS)
Stock 200 rules, factory 6000 RPM rev limiter must be intact and functional.
TRANSITION BOYS 8 - 10 | TRANSITION BOYS 9-13 | TRANSITION GIRLS 8-12
All sleds must be non-current or a minimum of one model year old. No studs allowed. The electronic control unit (ECU) will be reprogrammed with rev limit restrictions (rev limited to maximum 6500 PRM, with the exception of 2020 Polaris sleds can be 6600 RPM). Restricted throttle to allow no more than 50% throttle opening and must be installed properly. Exhaust valves will be blocked in the shut position. Primary clutch engagement will be 4000 max RPM with the exception of the 2020 Polaris sleds can be 4100 RPM.

JR GIRLS 9-13 | JUNIORS BOYS 10-13
Studs are allowed. The electronic control unit (ECU) will be reprogrammed with rev limit restrictions (rev limited to maximum 6500 PRM, with the exception of 2020 Polaris sleds can be 6600 RPM). Restricted throttle to allow no more than 50% throttle opening and must be installed properly. Exhaust valves will be blocked in the shut position. Primary clutch engagement will be 4000 max RPM with the exception of the 2020 Polaris sleds can be 4100 RPM. Hole shot function must be disabled.

JR BOYS 14 - 17
Studs are allowed. Restricted throttle to allow no more than 50% throttle opening and must be installed properly. Please see the ISR Rulebook for in-depth specifications.
BEGINNER
This class is for new riders with under a year of experience on a race sled 600cc or under. This is an entry-level class. Officials have the authority to move riders up if their skill level greatly exceeds other riders. Minimum age of 14.
SPORT LITE | SPORT
Open to riders 14 and up. Please see ISR Rulebook for in-depth specifications.
PRO LITE
Must be 16 and older. Please see ISR Rulebook for in-depth specifications.
PRO WOMEN
Women 14 and above. Studs are allowed in this class. Please see ISR Rulebook for in-depth specifications.
PRO
Must be 16 and older. Please see ISR Rulebook for in-depth specifications.
JR TRAIL 10-14
Stock trail sled, air box required.
TRAIL
Open to riders 15 and up. Stock trail sled, air box required.
30+
Open to riders 30 and up. Please see the ISR Rulebook for in-depth specifications.
40+
40 years old and above. This class will run if we have 5 or more racers registered, if less than 5 this class will be combined with 30+.
